Prayer is a Great Battlefield
How to Pray for Muslims
Some say that it is very difficult to win Muslims to Christ. This would
be true if we have not yet learned that it is"Not by mighty, nor by power,
but by My Spirit says the Lord" (Zech. 4:6).
Someone likened Muslim evangelism to the extreme difficulty experience
in scraping frost off a car. However, when the heat of the sun warms the
car, scraping the softened frost becomes an easy task. Similarly, when
we pray, the move of the Holy Spirit softens the Muslims' hearts and
remove the dark veil from their minds, allowing us the pleasant
task of introducing them to Jesus.
Here is a brief guide to help you while praying for Muslims.
- Pray that the Lord will soften the Muslims' heart so they become open to the Gospel.
- Pray that the veil would be lifted from their spiritual eyes so they can see Christ.
- Pray that the Church become involved in a broad-based outreach to Muslims
- Pray to the Lord of the harvest to send laborers, into the Muslim fields.
- Pray that the Lord would give you opportunities to befriend Muslims in your neighborhood.
- Pray that there will be an army of Christians befriending large numbers of Muslims in our communities.
- Pray that though Christians do not see immediate conversions they will remain faithful to God's calling.
- Pray that our prayers, prioreties, and preparations remain intact so we see Muslims won for Christ.
